We offer a complete line of services for cylinders of all shapes and sizes! The following is a list of every service and our capacities for each.
Dismantling, Inspecting, and Repairing
After dismantling, we inspect your hydraulic cylinder's barrel and piston for damage. Our techs repair hydraulic cylinders up to 16 tons, 24″ in diameter, and 50′ in length. Our technicians will replace or rebuild any part of the cylinder that is not within specifications. We’ll also replace all seals on the cylinders to ensure leak free operation.
Testing
We believe testing is crucial to any hydraulic cylinder repair. Our 5,000 psi testing bench enables us to recreate the working environment for any hydraulic cylinder. Prior to re-installation, we test your cylinder for leaks to ensure it’s ready to be put back to work.
Select Fluid Power has the capacity to chrome hydraulic cylinders up to 50′ in length and 4′ in diameter. With 6 chroming tanks, we have the largest capacity in the Pacific Northwest!
We grind rods on a machine capable of 14′ between centers, up to 5,000 lbs, and a swing of 25 1/8″. Does your hydraulic cylinder need precision grinding? We have a machine that can perform exact tolerance grinding to half a thousandth of an inch.
